Al Gore on “Meet The Press” Starts Looking Carrottop-ey

I mentioned Carrottop in this post about Hurl! in a way that could be taken as disparaging.  So let me say publicly that some part of me actually kinda likes the guy (though I’d rather be hung by my nipples than see him perform - some things are too painful to have even kitsch value.)

It’s probably the fact that he just takes the whole package that is him and heads out in public with it.  The uber-pumped physique, the more-bizarre-looking-than-Joan-Rivers face, the bad hair that seems to sprout hairclips in odd places, the fairly lame prop comedy; it’s a package I wouldn’t want describing me, but ‘Top is out there working that shit, copping a regular gig in a major Vegas hotel as a matter fact. He also seems to be really good to his fans, though to be fair not many people are outwardly unkind to the mentally challenged.

Bottom line is that anyone that has the stones to go out in public like that has my respect, and apparently that of ex-VP Al Gore as well, who I’ve noticed is starting to look a bit like Carrottop.

With his current road material and his new facial look, Gore is just a Rip Taylor wig away from getting a gig in vegas. ‘Course, I’d still rather hang out Carrottop.
