My Challenge To Me

I don’t write enough. Here at this place I mean: I don’t write enough here.  From five to four to three posts a week, likely due to the fact that I may tend to also write too much.  Per post I’m saying.

So here’s the deal: I’m throwing down the gauntlet.  I’m slapping myself in the face with a dueling glove.  I’m drawing a line in the sand that I’m daring myself to cross.  I’m challenging myself to write one post a day for a week, each not to exceed one or two paragraphs. Not a big deal perhaps for you, but for me….well we all have our Moby Dicks. And by that I mean the elusive white whale, not Moby’s penis.

Put that away. I wasn't talking to you.

Please put that away. I wasn't talking to you.

By the way, while I’m going to do at least one short post per day, I still reserve the right to run on endlessly in additional posts.  Why am I laying this plan out on the blog rather than just doing it? Two reasons: to motivate myself with the fear of public humiliation, and because I’m counting this as Sunday’s post.

Have you ever noticed how Moby’s head looks like an upside down egg?

    1) Good for you! I like challenges…esp those that others have to fulfill or face humiliation. ;>

    2) Heeey, are you cheating with counting that as your Sunday post? Where’s the blog police when you need them?

I prefer quality over quantity. But then, I would say that.

Ally: No, but now that you mention it…. of course making fun of someone’s head shape is a whole pot/kettle thing for me (mine’s kinda square.)

Jo: You have to say that or you don’t get the goods.

Teresa: At the blog doughnut shop.

Robey: Stop feeding straight lines to yourself and taking your own layup - that’s what I’m here for.
