Iranian Protesters Get Beaten and Killed

Tea Party protesters go to Burger King for sliders
If there’s one thing that makes me want to bitch-slap the trustafarians whining about Starbucks, it’s this:
Yesterday, on the 31st anniversary of the Iranian Revolution, anti-Ahmadinejad protests took place throughout the country. Not so long ago, what went on at protests in countries like Iran was kept [...]

Get Your Snark On During Obama’s State of the Union

Share your genius commentary with other losers on the net.
Sitting at home alone and watching President Obama’s first State of the Union address while you make snarky comments to your pet turtle just doesn’t deliver the satisfaction that irritating an entire room full of other viewers does. Which is why you should consider visiting one [...]

Tucker Carlson’s “Daily Caller” Launches, Features Huge Tool

Poor Matt Labash snubbed by Douche of the Decade, too.
So I just learned that Tucker Carlson launched a new political blog, The Daily Caller, today.  I’m not a huge fan of Carlson’s, though I don’t really want to say anything nasty about him because he’s raised $3 million in funding and hired 21 full time [...]

Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell

Now with double meaning.
Like Razzles (both a candy and a gum) the phrase “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” now serves double duty.   More than just a discriminatory policy, it’s also apparently the answer to the question of when, exactly, it will be chucked.
Sure President Obama told the crowd at the annual Human Rights Campaign dinner this [...]

Minutemen Murder Mayhem

Defending America by killing Americans
Every weekend near where I live, there’s a group of people that set up near a community center to demonstrate against illegal immigration.  They hold up signs that say things like “Honk If You Hate Wetbacks” and “Beaners Go Home”. O.K., I made those up.  But the sentiment is accurate.
I’m not [...]

Get Arlen Specter Some Tamiflu, STAT!

The swine flu strain we should fear.
“I am not prepared to have my 29-year record in the United States Senate decided by the Pennsylvania Republican primary electorate.”
– Arlen Specter, April 28, 2009
It’s clear to me that Senator Arlen Specter’s (R D – PA) imune system is finally shutting down [...]

Grammar and Vocabulary

Can’t we elect a President with chops in both?
What is it about this nation’s highest office?  Why do we keep getting Presidents that seem to have problems (albeit to varying degrees)  with the English language?  No matter how smart these guys are, every one of them seems to struggle with simple grammar and vocabulary.
President Obama [...]

Election 2008: The Good, Bad, & Ugly

The view from down here.
A lot of people have asked me how I did in my run for Jupiter Inlet District 5.  As expected, I lost – both of the other candidates are long time residents that put up a ton of signs and really worked their contacts.  I, on the other hand, posted to [...]
